Third Party Quality Inspector at GM 1st and 2nd shift.
The Personnel Office is looking for a Third-Party Quality Inspector inside GM.
- First Shift 6:00 am to 2:00 pm.
- Second Shift 230 pm to 10:30 pm.
- Immediate openings for qualified candidates.

- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Requirements:
- Should be physically fit and have the ability to lift heavy materials.
- The ability to competently and effectively manage time and complete assigned work.
- Be a team player and have the ability to coordinate with fellow workers.
- High school degree, GED certification.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for 8hrs or more at a time.
- Able to bend, reach, and manipulate bulky objects.
Responsibilities:
- The locations are typically a fast-paced and high-stress environment that requires impartial measurement and inspection of materials (supplied parts) for manufacturing.
- Work environment is typically filled with heightened emotions due to interruption of production processes.
- Assures that the Customer’s supplied materials is free from ‘suspect’ defect(s) or any other defect that is found during the inspection of supplied parts.
- Reads, understands, acknowledges and performs documented ‘Work Instructions’.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database when instructed by Lead Inspector.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
